ABOUT US

Exceeding Expectations One Patient at a Time

Rosevilla was originally a traditional family home before it was converted into our residential home in 1988 and is very close to the village of Burtonwood, Earlestown and Newton le Willows.

Set in a peaceful rural setting, Rosevilla has its own extensive grounds and is close to amenities such as local shops, parks and the Gemini retail park. And with great motorway links too, M6, M62, to make travelling easy. A bus route stops outside the residential home which is convenient for visitors.

Rosevilla has a reputation for having a dedicated professional team who are local to the residential home, keeping links with the community high and who also deliver high-quality personalised care in a safe, welcoming and secure environment. We are proud of our reputation as a good home that will always go the extra mile and that has been running for 30 years plus. Our last inspection rated us as Good which we are also very proud of.

In addition to general residential care, Rosevilla provides specialist dementia care along with shorter-term respite for elderly people from 65 years and upwards. For people living with dementia, we have trained staff who support them in a warm, reassuring and engaging environment. Our residential and dementia residents live together and we support an inclusive and understanding culture that ensures the best for all our residents, whether they are residential or dementia clients.

Rosevilla has 42 purpose built bedrooms, of these bedrooms are seven built bedrooms which boasts modern décor and are individually furnished to a high standard. Our bedrooms also have WiFi and a smart TV facility. We truly feel these rooms are homely, offering the correct features our residents need and in doing so promoting independence.

We have three dining rooms,  a sun lounge and cinema room. This is a truly enjoyable experience which our residents can enjoy with friends and families. As Rosevilla is surrounded by the local countryside, all rooms either have a view of the surrounding area or our gardens that house local wildlife and flowering plants, shrubs and trees. We have a hairdressing/barbers salon, delightful patio and courtyard and plans to develop a sensory garden for residents to enjoy. Two passenger lifts provide access to our second floor.

The culture of Rosevilla began in 1988 when, as a family villa, it was envisaged as a place that others could call home too, and in that vein, we welcome residents here as part of a family. We encourage an atmosphere of care and support which enables and encourages people to live a full, interesting and independent lifestyle as possible. We want our residents to feel happy and cared for, and our staff are encouraged to treat them with dignity and respect, always putting the resident first. We pride ourselves on the fact we will go the extra mile for our residents and families and friends too.

Tailored person-centred care plans are always created by our dedicated professional care management team, with the help of the resident themselves, family and friends and others who may know the resident well. Our residents have access to 24 hr medical care with our local surgeries and on call services and a dedicated member of our team ensures that all medical issues are dealt with promptly and efficiently. These are used to ensure that the care a resident receives is personal, accurate and will gain the best outcomes for our residents. We have solid and trustworthy relationships with our local councils and professionals.

We offer daily activities and varied seasonal events to stimulate our residents as well as having fun with each other, building on friendships and making new ones. Our families and friends are always included and welcomed to our activities and events, keeping those vital links with the outside world close. We have a private mini bus for outings, appointments and visits.

We offer care that listens to the need of the resident, supported by a dedicated care team and experienced healthcare and social care professionals but also, and at its heart, a residential home that is about family – family-run, but also a care home that understands that, whilst we gain a resident to our family at Rosevilla, it can mean a change to that resident’s family too. Keeping links to family, friends and the resident’s life is a priority for us and we make it our aim to support this in every way we can, when a difficult change is happening to all.
